The vision of this business is to develop a cloud-based, hybrid intranet with high quality data-farming and storefront. It is a vision for a new kind of platform that places data ownership front and center, offering an alternative to Facebook, Google and other industry giants who have grown rich by owning and exploiting user data. Data lies at the heart of modern organizations. In 2018, big data is a $42 billion USD industry. By 2027 Statista projects it will be worth $107 billion. TAGDit intranet provides its users with a rich data mining suite – data harvesting, pattern recognition from image, text, speech, IoT and other signals, preprocessing, processing and feature extraction, modeling, classifying, evaluation and qualifying, that operates seamlessly in the backend. System users can apply powerful data analytics and search queries on historical data. Social media data is processed to quantify trust and provide an accurate map of human resources, and all internal data is captured to create a network brain for the whole organization. TAGDit helps users to transform the data they generate into valuable big data intelligence datasets for the growing number of organizations that need quality datasets.
We have designed, built and tested a new cloud-based intranet Software As A Service (SaaS) called TAGDit that solves this ubiquitous data ownership issue that plague many web platforms in widespread use today.
Well known “free” cloud services such as Facebook, Google Gmail and many others base their business model on ownership and exploitation of user data in exchange for use of their service, and monetize that to the tune of billions of dollars per annum. In contrast, TAGDit is a cloud-based intranet with high quality data farming and data storefront, that enables Calgarians, or any other organization, social network or individual to take control of their data. Instead of the platform owning and earning revenue from your data, TAGDit allows its users to. TAGDit is specifically designed to allow users to market data that their social network generates from internal use. Clients who have a need for that data can browse datasets members make available for sale on their storefront. Clients can browse a TAGDit database of datasets for sale. TAGDit takes a small commission for any data sales transaction on the network.
Once a user account is set up, the user can select different types of user-generated data for sale. Clients can purchase specific geographically-based information such as farming, location-based games, lifestyle, health, services, tourism, etc. Clients can range from corporations performing market research; to academics, knowledge or government institutions performing surveys and research, to political parties or pollsters conducting surveys. Other information that can be purchased relate to specific questions, emails, video data from webcams, IoT data from networks of sensors, advertising to the individual or group. Other questions might include, purchase an introduction to a neighbor, issue a poll for a certain location etc.
Information quality is emerging as a growing concern as the digital age generates enormous amounts of data. Without knowing the source of information, or its quality and veracity, poor management decisions result. The quality of the information directly affects its value to a client. For this reason, TAGDit prioritizes data quality and builds in realtime data quality verification functionality into the platform in a way that is seamless to the end user. Our platform measures and ranks the quality of the information, via an innovative patented algorithm that grows out of our 6 dimensional mathematical research. The Vector-Parametized Information System (VPIS) is an integrated hardware/software solution including IoT, big data, AI processing and advanced GIS data visualization. The software converges, normalizes and processes all multiple human and sensor data streams using advanced AI and outputs this to the heart of the process, a patented 6D Black-Scholls processor for constructing the data’s associated quality vector. Because these sophisticated, realtime data processing functions are seamlessly operating in the backend, an organization that uses the TAGDit SAAS for its daily work receives an unprecedented granular veracity for its data, increasing the value of the dataset to any clients who purchase it. Audited data accounting reports are available to all dataset clients.
Driven by specific application-specific opportunities such as in medical information systems, we have also developed an optional GIS module that receives the output of the quality vector module, to associate a new quality variable onto health information, providing healthcare managers with a granular degree of veracity for geographically mapped data to make better decisions.
With an innovative platform geared at helping workers improve their productivity at the same time that they can generate useful and valuable high quality datasets including for previously intangible information, TAGDit takes information science into the 21st century, freeing users to control the destiny of their own data.
